Uterine polyps or Endometrial polyp are growths attached to the inner wall of the uterus that extend into the uterine cavity. Most of the uterine polyps are noncancerous (benign). Endometrial polyps are common in women who are undergoing or have completed menopause. Symptoms include irregular menstrual bleeding and bleeding after menopause. Treatments include hormone medication and surgery.
