On behalf of the doctors, fellows and staff of the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital (MAH), Punjabi Bagh, I am delighted to introduce you to my organisation. MAH is home to a large, diverse group of individuals; including, doctors, nurses, paramedics and administrative staff, dedicated to our Trust's mission of providing safe and comfortable environment to attend to patients' simplest and complex health concerns in a caring and healing environment with human touch. Our physician and nursing staff have a wealth of experience taking care of patients and are here to help when you need us.
Keeping in view with the prime objective of the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Charitable Trust (MAHCT) of providing quality medical aid to every deserving human being irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The hospital was established by MAHCT to address the ever growing demand of the society for quality health care professionals delivering quality health care through quality infrastructure at an affordable cost to alleviate human suffering through healing hands. The Trust not only supports the hospital by voluntary donations but also some of the trustees are doing honorary work in the hospital.
Patient safety is the topmost priority of the hospital. The hospital's commitment to patient safety could be seen in the quality accreditations, like, Joint Commission International (JCI) (2017) and NABH (2015) besides NABL, CIl gold plus recognition (2020) and ISO 9001:2015. JCI accreditation showed that the hospital is compliant not only with national standards of patient safety and patient care but also with international standards.
We are a dedicated group of medical professionals, bound by ethical principles, committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Today's well-informed health care consumer is a discerning customer who wants the highest quality care that is individualized for them. We at MAH take a cost-effective, balanced, approach to patient care by informing and involving our patients in making the right health care decisions. It is a pleasure to announce that MAH became 1st Non-Medical College Hospital in India to become a unit of UNESCO Chair in Bioethics, Haifa. Maharaja Agrasen Hospital is active in academics also. The hospital is accredited with National Board of Examinations to offer DNB (Diplomate of the National Board) to more than 45 students in nine specialties (General Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Anesthesiology, Radio Diagnosis and Emergency Medicine) and two super specialties (Critical Care Medicine and Cardiology). The hospital also have 3 Texila American University students (Radiology, Internal Medicine & Gyne) besides many Fellowship Courses and Paramedical Diploma Course.
