Abdominal pain is pain that you feel anywhere between your chest and groin. This is often referred to as the stomach region inside the abdomen or the outer muscle wall, ranging from mild and temporary to severe and requiring emergency care.
Taking an antacid or anti-wind medication and eating smaller meals may help to relieve heartburn or wind. Acetaminophen (Aspirin Free Anacin, Liquiprin, Panadol, Tylenol) might be helpful. But It's best to avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen as these medications can worsen some abdominal pain.
See a doctor immediately if you:
Feel severe pain that worsens with movement
Develop a fever
Vomit or have bloody diarrhoea
Experience abdominal swelling
Have chest pain or pressure
